‘Up until the box, we were very good. I can only say what I saw, I thought we were the dominant team from minute one until the end of the game,’ Rosenior said.

‘But to lose this game in the manner we did is extremely disappointing because we had many opportunities to win it.”

‘I think it was their only shot on target, we were down to ten men in that moment but we have to defend it better.

‘At this level, you cannot switch off at any moment, no matter how in control of the game you are.

‘It feels like any small mistake is ending up in the back of our net and that has to change.’

Asked if Chelsea can finish in the top five, Rosenior replied: ‘Of course.’
