City started the half with great intensity and quickly pinned the home side back. It did not take long for Chelsea to wilt.

After a period of pressure the ball is curled in from the right by Rayan Cherki and finds the forehead of the England international. He nods the ball past Sanchez.

Doku wins a corner on the left wing, which is again played short and again nothing comes of it. Cleared.

More danger on the City left, this time from O’Reilly bursting forward. He finds Cherki but his effort is straight at Sanchez.
