Day Two of the 2026 Cheltenham Festival will hope to deliver the same level of excitement after an action-packed start on Champion Day.

On Tuesday, it was Lossiemouth who stole the headlines with a dominant prerformance to claim victory in the Champion Hurdle and make it four wins from four at the Festival.

And Willie Mullins will be hoping to enjoy more success on Ladies Day with one of his other star horses, Majborough, set to race in the Queen Mother Champion Chase.

A poor performance at the festival 12 months ago may have some punters fearful of backing Majborough, with Dan Skelton’s Leau Du Sud set to provide a stern challenge in Wednesday’s feature race.

Elsewhere, Romeo Coolio will look to provide a winner for Gordon Elliott in the Brown Advisory, while a wide open Turner’s Novices’ Hurdle should kickstart the day in unpredictable fashion.

Seven races take place today with your full race list, betting tips and odds provided below.

Racing TV will provide the final two races of the day.

Cheltenham Festival Day 2 betting tips

Sky Bet ambassadors Oli Bell and Ed Chamberlin have given their top tips for the second day’s races.

14:00 Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase – Wendigo (6/1)

Ed Chamberlin: ‘In the Brown Advisory, Wendigo is a really good each way price. Final Demand and Co are all the talk but Wendigo is rock solid, will definitely stay, and jumps well.’

16:00 BetMGM Queen Mother Champion Chase – Leau Du Sud (4/1)

Oli Bell: ‘The big race of the day and I’m going to be taking on the favourite Marjborough. I think there are too many question marks around his jumping so I’m going for Leau Du Sud because the Skeltons have primed him for this race.’

16:40 Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Challenge Cup Handicap Chase – Ballysax Hank (12/1)

Ed Chamberlin: Ballysax Hank has been really eye catching a couple of times at Leopardstown for Gavin Cormwell and I think it’s worth an each way bet in the Grand Annual.’
