Cheltenham Festival 2026 LIVE: Race results, tips and winners as Supreme Novices’ Hurdle kickstarts action
The biggest race week of the year is here as Cheltenham Festival kicks off with Champion Day today.
This year’s meeting look set to throw up more surprises than ever, with seven races kicking off the four-day Festival.
The Champion Hurdle will headline the first day’s action, with Willie Mullins‘ Lossiemouth and Dan Skelton‘s The New Lion the two favourites.
And earlier in the day, the highly-rated Kopek Des Bordes and Lulamba will go head-to-head in the Arkle Chase.
Kickstarting the action will be the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, with Nicky Henderson’s Old Park Star the early favourite with the bookmakers.
