David Moyes claimed Manchester City are currently the best team in the Premier League after his Everton side Arsenal a huge advantage in the Premier League title race. <\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola\u2019s side looked on course for a vital win when they led 1-0 at half-time thanks to Jeremy Doku\u2019s stunning effort. <\/p>\n

A calamitous 13 minute spell after the break, during which City conceded three times, turned the game on its head, however, as Everton capitalised on a series of defensive lapses.<\/p>\n

To their credit, City rallied immediately and eventually secured an unlikely point with Erling Haaland and Doku denying the Toffees a victory that would have boosted their European aspirations. <\/p>\n

Arsenal now know that should they win their remaining three games, against West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace, they will be champions for the first time in 22 years. <\/p>\n

Despite having led the way for the overwhelming majority of the campaign, Moyes believes the Gunners are not the best team in the land.<\/p>\n

Following the pulsating 3-3 draw, the Everton manager said: \u2018I\u2019m disappointed because we [Everton] were on the verge of taking three points against the best team at the moment in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

\u2018Whether Man City go on to prove they\u2019re the best team by winning it I don\u2019t know. But there\u2019s no doubt they\u2019re playing better than any other team in the Premier League.\u2019<\/p>\n

Asked if he anticipated a thank you from his former Everton charge, Mikel Arteta, who is now on the verge of bringing the title to the Emirates Stadium for the very first time, Moyes added: \u2018Now and again I speak to Mikel, but no, he\u2019s got his own things he\u2019ll have to keep focus on.\u2019<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola, meanwhile, promised will keep fighting despite their precarious position. <\/p>\n

\u2018We need to win our games,\u2019 Guardiola said. \u2018Now it is not in our hands.<\/p>\n

\u2018If they win their games the title will be for Arsenal. Now have to win our next game, we have to recover well for a series of games, and this is what we have to do.\u2019<\/p>\n

City chose a terrible time to end an eight-match winning run away to Everton, but Doku\u2019s late intervention could prove pivotal.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s better the point than no point, but it (would be) better to win the game that we needed,\u2019 Guardiola said.<\/p>\n

\u2018I know it was in our hands and in Arsenal\u2019s hands as well, it depended on goal (difference). Now it\u2019s not, but we have a responsibility. We play Brentford on Saturday and we continue and we will see what happens.<\/p>\n

\u2018Better effort cannot be possible. The message is the same as the day before. We have four games left and a final \u2013 win the games. That is the message. We play for that, even with difficulties for many reasons.\u2019<\/p>\n
