Matheus Cunha is set to return from injury for Manchester United\u2019s Premier League match against Liverpool on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Brazil international missed United\u2019s 2-1 win at home to Brentford on Monday evening due to a hip injury.<\/p>\n

However, United have confirmed that Cunha took part in full training with his teammates ahead of Liverpool\u2019s visit to Old Trafford this weekend.<\/p>\n

Cunha has been one of United\u2019s standout performers this season with eight goals and two assists in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

    Speaking about Cunha\u2019s injury on Monday, Michael Carrick said: \u2018He had a bit of a sore hip flexor after the game against\u00a0Chelsea.<\/p>\n

    \u2018He was looking quite promising during the week. We thought he\u2019d be okay but he didn\u2019t quite progress quick enough. It\u2019s nothing too serious but unfortunately he misses out tonight.\u2019<\/p>\n

    United currently sit third in the Premier League and three points clear of fourth-placed Liverpool.<\/p>\n
