Martin Odegaard has dismissed suggestions that he could leave Arsenal at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Arsenal\u2019s captain has struggled with injuries this season and has started just 18 games across the Premier League and Champions League so far.<\/p>\n

Odegaard returned from a knee problem at the start of the month and the 1-0 win against Newcastle United on Saturday was the first time that the Norway international has completed back-to-back games since December.<\/p>\n

Reports have suggested that Arsenal could be prepared to sell Odegaard this summer in order to finance another significant spending spree.<\/p>\n

However, the 27-year-old insists he has no plans to leave Arsenal.<\/p>\n

When asked about the reports during Arsenal\u2019s pre-match press conference on Tuesday evening, Odegaard said: \u2018I don\u2019t know where that\u2019s coming from.<\/p>\n

\u2018My mindset is just about doing what I can every single day to do something special.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s always going to be talk and people speculating and I guess that\u2019s normal in football but it\u2019s not something I know anything about.\u2019<\/p>\n

Odegaard was also asked about Arsenal\u2019s desire to put their past near misses behind them ahead of the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s always going to be there until we win it,\u2019 Odegaard said.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s something you have to live with, we need to take the experiences and the lessons and use it in a good way. That\u2019s a part of football and the journey.<\/p>\n

\u2018We have to live in the moment. At the moment, we are doing really well. We are in an amazing position in the league and in the Champions League. That\u2019s what we have to focus on: how to be at our best.<\/p>\n

\u2018How can you not enjoy it? We\u2019re playing in probably the toughest and most competitive league in the world, fighting for the title in the Premier League and we\u2019re in the semi-final of the Champions League.<\/p>\n

\u2018It is hard for me to understand how you could not enjoy that. It\u2019s what we\u2019ve always dreamed about our whole lives, since I was a kid, This is the best part of the season. Everyone is up for it, the energy in the group is amazing.\u2019<\/p>\n
