The U.S. Space Force, Marines and other military branches will participate in the arrival.<\/p>\n<p>The king and queen will be welcomed with the song &#8220;Jubilant Fanfare&#8221; upon their arrival.<\/p>\n<p>At 11:10 a.m., the Trumps and the royals will exchange gifts behind closed doors in the White House&#8217;s Blue Room. At 11:40 a.m., the president and king will hold a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office, also behind closed doors. It&#8217;s not clear how long the bilateral meeting will last. While they meet, the first lady and the queen will join students on the White House grounds to explore the history of the U.S. and the U.K.<\/p>\n<p>The king will leave the White House in the afternoon and head to Capitol Hill, where he will speak at 3 p.m. to a joint meeting of Congress.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The king and queen will return to the White House again at 7 p.m. for a tour and document viewing in the White House Residence. They may discuss the U.S.&#8217;s war with Iran and other international issues, although Bergmann <span class=\"link\">said<\/span> his &#8220;baseline sense is this is going to be kind of a feel-good trip&#8221; focused on the historical ties of the two nations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Still, Charles has a delicate role to play. U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Mr. Trump&#8217;s relationship has been strained amid the war with Iran. Mr. Trump has also criticized immigration policy under Starmer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s got some fine thread and he has to thread it through a very very fine needle,&#8221; Bergmann said of the king.<\/p>\n<p>Bergmann said the president and king may also discuss other concerns of the king, like international nutrition and health aid for poor nations. International aid from the U.S. took a hit with the dismantling of the U.S. Agency for International Development.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trump told the BBC last week he thinks the king&#8217;s visit could help repair U.S.-U.K. relations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Absolutely,&#8221; the president told the BBC. &#8220;He&#8217;s fantastic. He&#8217;s a fantastic man.
