Paris Saint-Germain have made an approach to sign Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli, according to reports in France.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old is currently in his seventh season with Arsenal having joined in a \u00a36 million deal from Brazilian side Ituano in 2019.<\/p>\n

Martinelli has scored 62 goals in 271 appearances for the Gunners but has struggled for consistency in the Premier League this season with just one goal scored so far.<\/p>\n

PSG, meanwhile, are in the market to strengthen their attack and have Martinelli on their shortlist ahead of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

According to L\u2019Equipe, Luis Campos has held talks with Martinelli\u2019s representatives over a summer move for the Brazil international.<\/p>\n

The report adds that PSG have also had discussions to sign RB Leipzig\u2019s highly rated 19-year-old winger Yan Diomande, who is also wanted by Manchester United and Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the BBC reported that Arsenal would be open to selling Martinelli in the summer transfer window and are also ready to listen to offers for Gabriel Jesus, Ben White, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly.<\/p>\n

Last year, Arsenal were understood to have demanded a \u00a350m transfer fee for Martinelli with Bayern Munich expressing an interest.<\/p>\n

Bayern went on to sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool for \u00a365.5m.<\/p>\n

Martinelli, meanwhile, still has a year left on his contract with Arsenal and the club have the option to extend for another 12 months.<\/p>\n
