Roy Keane praised the \u2018huge\u2019 performances of Dominic Solanke and Richarlison after Tottenham ended their miserable losing run with a 1-1 draw away to Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Relegation-threatened Spurs had looked on course to suffer a seventh straight defeat in all competitions after Dominik Szoboszlai struck home a 30-yard free-kick to break the deadlock in the 18th minute.<\/p>\n

But the champions were found wanting in pursuit of a second and were made to pay for their wastefulness in front of goal as Richarlison capitalised on some poor defending to equalise at the death.<\/p>\n

Andy Robertson and Virgil van Dijk both came up short in their attempts to deal with Vicario\u2019s searching ball out from the back and Richalison made no mistake from ten yards out having been put through by Randal Kolo Muani.<\/p>\n

Given their wretched start under Igor Tudor and the absence of 13 first-team players through injury and suspension, the result at Anfield will give the visitors a much-needed morale boost in their fight for top-flight survival. <\/p>\n

The north Londoners will hope the fightback could prove a turning point ahead of their return to Premier League action at home to fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest next weekend.<\/p>\n

Analysing the performance in the Sky Sports studio, Jamie Redknapp called on Tudor to continue with both Solanke and Richarlison up front after their success on Merseyside.<\/p>\n

\u2018Coming here today, I didn\u2019t give them a hope,\u2019 the ex-Tottenham, Liverpool and England midfielder began.<\/p>\n

\u2018I have to be honest, I looked at the team and I was thinking, \u201cHow can this team get a result today?\u201d, because they\u2019ve been so spineless in every aspect of play.<\/p>\n

\u2018But now it\u2019s going to be interesting. They\u2019ve kept the manager.<\/p>\n

\u2018They had all that turmoil and had they lost today they would have had to get rid of Igor Tudor.<\/p>\n

\u2018They\u2019ve now got two huge games: Atletico Madrid and Nottingham Forest at home. Can you somehow get some points to get yourself out of this horrendous predicament they\u2019ve found themselves in?<\/p>\n

\u2018It will be interesting. Does he stick to same two centre-backs? Does he bring Christian Romero back in and Micky van de Ven? They\u2019ve been awful lately, they haven\u2019t really shown a lot of quality and ill discipline hasn\u2019t helped.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s got a few decisions to make but one thing for sure I would do is keep those two strikers up there because I think that gave them a platform.\u2019<\/p>\n

Roy Keane was similarly impressed by Solanke and Richarlison, praising the duo for providing an \u2018outlet\u2019 for their team-mates to build around.<\/p>\n

\u2018It gave them an outlet for the players and Liverpool struggled to deal with it,\u2019 the former Manchester United captain added.<\/p>\n

\u2018Generally with Spurs, you always think there\u2019s a softness to them. But that physicality with the two players up front was huge. They were a huge bonus today for Spurs.<\/p>\n

\u2018It was an outlet, they were knocking people over and between now and the end of the season, with those battles they have every week\u2026 Nottingham Forest is the next league game. Huge.\u2019<\/p>\n
