Manchester City skipper Rodri fears Arsenal have already opened up too big a gap at the top of the table and are destined to be crowned Premier League champions.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s results have put a hugely different complexion on the likely desitnation of the title after Arsenal struck twice late on to secure a vital 2-0 win against Everton.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta\u2019s joy would\u2019ve been enhanced when just a few short hours later, City were pegged back by West Ham and held to a disappointing 1-1 draw. <\/p>\n

The Gunners now hold a nine-point advantage over their nearest rivals in the table, albeit having played a game more, and the City skipper is concerned that, with games running out, the die is already cast. <\/p>\n

\u2018We know it\u2019s going to be difficult because we have this experience of what you need to win at the end,\u2019 said the former Ballon d\u2019Or winner.<\/p>\n

\u201dI think the distance is too far but we\u2019re going to fight until the end. Now is a moment of no regrets.<\/p>\n

\u2018Today we showed a little bit of what the season was, ups and downs, then maybe the last pass or the last strike can make the difference. <\/p>\n

\u2018Football is about goals and we couldn\u2019t find the players to have numbers in terms of goals. <\/p>\n

\u2018That\u2019s the most important thing in football because we created the chances, we controlled the games but this is what makes the difference.\u2019<\/p>\n

City conceded to West Ham\u2019s only shot on target of the whole contest shortly after Bernardo Silva had opened the scoring.<\/p>\n

A dejected Rodri added: \u2018I\u2019m disappointed, but at the same time I\u2019m proud of my teammates.<\/p>\n
