\t<\/div>Thierno Barry has claimed that Everton supporters attacked his friends at the Emirates Stadium in the immediate aftermath of their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Everton striker uploaded a six-second clip on Instagram of a fight in the away supporters\u2019 section at the Emirates shortly after the game.<\/p>\n
In the video, a man can be seen punching one of Barry\u2019s friends from behind while a stadium steward attempted to hold back another fan.<\/p>\n
Barry, who joined Everton in a \u00a327 million deal from Villarreal last summer, started the match on the bench but was brought on as a second-half substitute for Beto in the 69th minute.<\/p>\n
In a statement on Instagram after Everton\u2019s defeat away to Arsenal, Barry wrote: \u2018This kind of behaviour is not acceptable in a stadium.<\/p>\n

\u2018Football should be a place where everyone feels safe and respected. This type of attitude has no place in the game and is simply not tolerated in football.<\/p>\n
\u2018My friends and the people who were attacked had to be escorted by the Arsenal club\u2019s security staff as well as the police because of fears of retaliation from our supporters.\u2019<\/p>\n
Mikel Arteta\u2019s side left it late to secure the victory at the Emirates as Viktor Gyokeres scored the opening goal in the 89th minute before Max Dowman became the Premier League\u2019s youngest-ever goalscorer with his brilliant solo effort in injury time.<\/p>\n
