Bryan Mbeumo believes JJ Gabriel \u2018has something special\u2019 after training alongside Manchester United\u2019s top academy prospect.<\/p>\n

The 15-year-old made his debut for United\u2019s academy last year and became the youngest-ever player at the age of 14 to play for\u00a0the club\u2019s Under-18s, scoring twice against\u00a0Leeds United.<\/p>\n

In his first full season with United\u2019s academy, Gabriel has been a standout performer, scoring 20 goals in 22 appearances for the Under-18s.<\/p>\n

Gabriel has frequently trained with United\u2019s first-team squad and was included in Thursday\u2019s session as Michael Carrick\u2019s side prepared for their Premier League match at home to Aston Villa on Sunday.<\/p>\n

United are now facing calls to promote Gabriel to Carrick\u2019s squad on a permanent basis, however, the 15-year-old is ineligible to make his Premier League debut this season due to age restrictions and must wait until the start of the 2026\/27 campaign.<\/p>\n

When asked for his verdict on Gabriel, Mbeumo said in an interview with Zack En Roue Libre: \u2018He\u2019s strong, the little guy is strong.<\/p>\n

\u2018Yeah, he\u2019s strong, he\u2019s really something, frankly. He\u2019s really strong for, I don\u2019t know how old he is, I think he\u2019s 15.<\/p>\n

\u2018You feel that he\u2019s bound to be a little kid but he trains quite a bit with us and actually you see, you can feel that the little guy has something special.<\/p>\n

\u2018Of course, and you also see it when he plays already he\u2019s not even with the guys of his generation, and what he does you feel it\u2019s easy for him.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s actually kind of a winger, he\u2019s a dribbler and even in front of the box, I still think he\u2019s good, honestly. Even when it\u2019s one-on-one, often when you\u2019re young, one-on-one in front of the goalkeeper, you stutter but I think he already has good blood.<\/p>\n

\u2018We saw him score some nice goals, he has a good shot. Technically he\u2019s strong.\u2019<\/p>\n
