The action at the 2026 Cheltenham Festival continues with a host of big names and highly-anticipated races on St. Patrick\u2019s Thursday.<\/p>\n

Wednesday saw Willie Mullins make it two for two in the features races as Il Etait Temps outlasted heavy pre-race favourite Majborough to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase.<\/p>\n

And having won with Lossiemouth in the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday, the great Irish trainer has a superb chance to make it three from three with Fact To File in the Ryanair chase.<\/p>\n

The JP McManus-owned horse was being considered for a run in Friday\u2019s Gold Cup, but will instead defend the title he won in comprehensive fashion last year.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Bob Olinger will look to defend the Stayers\u2019 Hurdle title he won with Rachael Blackmore last year, but faces stiff competition in a race that also features Kabral Du Mathan, Teahupoo and Ballyburn.<\/p>\n

And there is plenty of excitement for Bambino Fever in the day\u2019s opener, The Ryanair Mares\u2019 Novices\u2019 Hurdle, as she returns to the Festival after winning the Weatherbys Champion Bumper in 2025. <\/p>\n

3.20 Stayers\u2019 Hurdle\u00a0\u2013 Kabral Du Mathan (7\/2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ed Chamberlin: \u2018I\u2019m going to go with Kabral Du Mathan in the Stayers\u2019 Hurdle \u2013 it might be the best horse in the Skelton yard, and we know how much power they have got.\u2019<\/p>\n

3.20 Stayers\u2019\u00a0Hurdle \u2013 Ma Shantou (4\/1)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oli Bell:\u00a0\u2018I like Ma Shantou in the Stayers\u2019 Hurdle for Emma Levelle. He\u2019s a really progressive stayer, and despite the fact he\u2019s really small, he has the heart of a lion and I think he\u2019ll go really well in the Stayers.\u2019<\/p>\n

4.40 Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle \u2013 Supremely West (3\/1)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oil Bell: \u2018In the Pertemps, all the talk is about Supremely West being supremely handicapped for the Skeltons, and I think he looks thrown in on his form \u2013 he\u2019s the horse I like.\u2019<\/p>\n

5.20 Rosconn Group Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Amateur Riders\u2019 Handicap Chase \u2013 Kim Roque (15\/2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ed Chamberlin:\u00a0\u2018One of the bets of the week is in the Kim Muir \u2013 it\u2019s Kim Roque in the Ronnie Bartlett blue and white. He\u2019s had a couple of sighters here at Cheltenham before Christmas. Kim Roque each way is my bet of the day.\u2019<\/p>\n
