The Premier League takes a backseat this weekend with the FA Cup fifth round offering up some compelling ties up and down the country.<\/p>\n
In a repeat of their midweek clash in the league, Wolves host Liverpool at Molineux tonight having snatched a dramatic late victory over Arne Slot\u2019s side just three days ago.<\/p>\n
Arsenal will fancy their chances of continuing their march towards a quadruple away to Mansfield Town while Wrexham have the glamour tie they prayed for, hosting Chelsea at the Racecourse Ground.<\/p>\n
Newcastle United and Manchester City will be sick of the sight of each other, meeting for the fifth time this season on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Ahead of the action, England legend and\u00a0Betfair\u00a0ambassador Alan Shearer has revealed some of his FA Cup predictions to\u00a0Metro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Wolves vs Liverpool<\/h2>\n
I\u00a0would say Liverpool will get back to winning ways on Friday. Because of what\u2019s happened in midweek, I think they\u2019ll go into the game really wound up and ready to go, and I would expect Liverpool to bounce back and go through to the next round.<\/p>\n

Liverpool need the FA Cup this season for obvious reasons. So, they need a big performance, and they need to turn it around what happened in midweek in terms of the league game.<\/p>\n
They need to go there and need to get through to the next round, because it\u2019s a big competition now for Liverpool this season.<\/p>\n
Prediction \u2013 Liverpool<\/strong><\/p>\n
Newcastle vs Manchester City<\/h2>\n
I think\u00a0Man City would have looked at Newcastle\u2019s game against Man United and wouldn\u2019t have wanted Newcastle to put in the performance like they did, and sort of get their belief and the confidence back. They\u2019d rather Man United beat them and put them under huge pressure.<\/p>\n\n

Pep knows that coming to St. James\u2019 Park is probably one of their toughest games of the season for Man City. I genuinely think Newcastle have got a chance of going through. <\/p>\n
I think City will give them chances, and with the pace they\u2019ve got up front, and obviously City won\u2019t sit back will play to their strengths. This season when, if there is a time when Newcastle struggle, it\u2019s been when trying to break someone down who\u2019s got a low block.<\/p>\n\n
But City won\u2019t do that, so I guess they\u2019ll leave space in behind, and I think Newcastle might get through here. It\u2019ll be tight, it always is but I think Newcastle might have enough to get through.<\/p>\n
Prediction \u2013 Newcastle<\/strong><\/p>\n
Wrexham vs Chelsea<\/h2>\n
I\u2019m really looking forward to this one. I\u2019m going and doing the co-comms for this game. I did Chelsea in the last round against Hull. They went there with a great attitude, as you have to. It will be something similar here. I mean, Wrexham will be rocking. It\u2019ll be absolutely rocking on Saturday at the Racecourse Ground. <\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s been an unbelievable story with Wrexham since Rob and Ryan have taken over. And I guess this is just part of their journey.<\/p>\n
I do think, with the quality that Chelsea have, with the result they had in midweek away from home, I still think whatever team he puts out, I think they\u2019ll still have enough to beat Wrexham.<\/p>\n
Prediction \u2013 Chelsea<\/strong><\/p>\n
Mansfield vs Arsenal<\/h2>\n
I guess Mikel Arteta will make changes, but I even think with the changes that come in, they\u2019ll still have the quality. I don\u2019t see a shock at Mansfield, no, I think Arsenal will go through with ease.<\/p>\n
