Marco Silva has played down the severity of Harry Wilson\u2019s ankle injury after the midfielder missed Fulham\u2019s Premier League defeat to West Ham on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Wilson was forced off with an ankle injury in the second half of Fulham\u2019s 2-1 win at home to Tottenham last Sunday.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old, who has nine goals and six assists in the Premier League this season, was then left out of Fulham\u2019s matchday squad for West Ham\u2019s visit to Craven Cottage on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

When asked about Wilson\u2019s absence before kick-off against West Ham, Silva said: \u2018It doesn\u2019t look really serious.<\/p>\n

\u2018It was impossible for this game for him to be in contention. The games are coming thick and fast and the space between the games was not the normal one.<\/p>\n

\u2018After some exams and treatment he wasn\u2019t in the position to be involved.\u2019<\/p>\n

Crysencio Summerville\u2019s second-half strike sealed a much-needed 1-0 win for West Ham, who remain 18th in the Premier League but are now level on points with 17th-placed Nottingham Forest and only one behind Tottenham.<\/p>\n
