Frank Leboeuf criticised Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and branded Arsenal summer signing Eberechi Eze a \u2018passenger\u2019 after the Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n

Arsenal continued their title charge and dented Chelsea\u2019s Champions League hopes with a 2-1 derby win in north London on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Chelsea started to take control of the match after Piero Hincapie\u2019s own goal cancelled out William Saliba\u2019s early opener.<\/p>\n

But Arsenal scored from yet another corner \u2013 Jurrien Timber the goalscorer after Sanchez misread the flight of the ball \u2013 before the visitors were reduced to ten men, Pedro Neto becoming the ninth Chelsea player to see red this season.<\/p>\n

The narrow win saw Arsenal restore their five-point lead over title rivals Manchester City and Chelsea slip to sixth in the Premier League, six points outside the top-four places.<\/p>\n

While Arsenal secured three more vital points for their title charge, Leboeufwas underwhelmed by the hosts\u2019 performance and said Mikel Arteta should be \u2018worried\u2019 by their lack of threat in the final third.<\/p>\n

The French World Cup winner was particularly disappointed with Eze, describing him as a \u2018real passenger\u2019 who should have been subbed off by Arteta.<\/p>\n

Eze starred in last weekend\u2019s north London derby win over Tottenham but has largely flattered to deceive for the league leaders following his \u00a367.5m move from Crystal Palace last summer.<\/p>\n

\u2018If I may,\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0been a discussion about Martin Odegaard or Eberechi Eze,\u2019 Leboeuf said on ESPN. \u2018Odegaard obviously\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0available\u00a0against Chelsea but where was Eze?<\/p>\n

\u2018He was a real passenger. We know he can be so influential in the game but\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0like\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0not even trying to do anything.<\/p>\n

\u2018He was drawn to the tactics of Chelsea, we\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0see anything from him. I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0know why he stayed so long on the pitch when\u00a0you have other options like [Gabriel] Martinelli who maybe should have\u00a0came\u00a0on\u00a0earlier.<\/p>\n

\u2018Arsenal should be worried about how they play offensively but also defensively because even when it was ten vs eleven Chelsea had chances.<\/p>\n

\u2018Something\u00a0has to\u00a0be done because\u00a0without\u00a0David Raya it would have been a different story for Arsenal.\u2019<\/p>\n

Turning his attentions to Chelsea, Leboeuf criticised Sanchez and urged Stamford Bridge boss Liam Rosenior to instruct the goalkeeper to stop trying to play out from the back.<\/p>\n

Sanchez nearly got caught multiple times doing so against Arsenal while he was criticised for the part he played in Timber\u2019s second-half winner.<\/p>\n

\u2018We\u00a0have to\u00a0talk about Robert Sanchez,\u2019 said Leboeuf, who won two FA Cup trophies at Chelsea.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s\u00a0a very good\u00a0goalkeeper and made some good saves today but we\u00a0have to\u00a0stop telling him that\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0capable of playing out from the back.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s\u00a0bad from his feet, he scares everybody. I was jumping every time he got the ball because\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0a danger.<\/p>\n

\u2018Liam Rosenior should tell him to stop being\u00a0so\u00a0easy-going on the ball because he\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0know what\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0doing on the ball.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was\u00a0very upset\u00a0with that. You could see the difference between Robert Sanchez and David Raya, it was huge.\u2019<\/p>\n

Title favourites Arsenal and Club World Cup holders Chelsea both return to Premier League action on Wednesday, with the Gunners visiting Brighton and the Blues travelling to Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
