Yaya Toure wants to \u2018see more\u2019 from title-chasing Arsenal and believes the Premier League leaders are missing \u2018brilliant\u2019 captain Martin Odegaard.<\/p>\n

Arsenal continued their Premier League title charge with a hard-fought 2-1 win over London rivals Chelsea on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Jurrien Timber headed home Arsenal\u2019s second-half winner after a Piero Hincapie own goal cancelled out William Saliba\u2019s opener at the Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n

The victory restored Arsenal\u2019s five-point lead in the title race after second-placed Manchester City beat Leeds United 1-0 earlier in the weekend.<\/p>\n

Despite beating Club World Cup champions Chelsea, Arsenal\u2019s performance left Man City legend Toure slightly underwhelmed.<\/p>\n

Toure said he wanted Arsenal\u2019s players to be \u2018more open\u2019 and free as they chase a long-awaited title but acknowledged the team were \u2018missing\u2019 influential captain Odegaard.<\/p>\n

Odegaard missed Arsenal\u2019s win over Chelsea with a niggle and has not started any of the club\u2019s last nine games in all competitions, partly because of injury but also partly due to a lack of form and the emergence of other players like \u00a367.5m summer signing Eberechi Eze.<\/p>\n

Still, Toure \u2013 who won three Premier League titles at Man City \u2013 believes Odegaard is a \u2018huge miss\u2019 for an Arsenal side bidding to win their first league title in 22 years.<\/p>\n

Discussing Arsenal\u2019s form and the title race after they beat Chelsea, Toure said on Sky Sports: \u2018Man\u00a0City are coming back well. Arsenal\u00a0were\u00a0doing well from the start of the season but they dropped a few points.<\/p>\n

\u2018Those results might keep them a bit of doubt if\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0being honest because I\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0see the players expressing themselves.<\/p>\n

\u2018You\u00a0have to\u00a0understand as well that Martin\u00a0Odegaard, the captain, is a brilliant player\u00a0and for me\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0a huge miss. He plays between the lines, he moves very well, I love this type of player.<\/p>\n

\u2018You can be worried about making mistakes at this stage of the season\u00a0because it can cost the\u00a0team\u00a0but I want to see the players be more open.\u2019<\/p>\n

Toure added: \u2018The first half was okay, it was okay. But I feel a bit disappointed because we want to see attacks and\u00a0chances\u00a0but we only saw three goals from set-pieces.<\/p>\n

\u2018For a derby\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0strange. Winning today was obviously\u00a0very important\u00a0for Arsenal but as a fan I want to see more.\u2019<\/p>\n

Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira was also somewhat surprisingly \u2018disappointed\u2019 by his former club\u2019s performance in the win over Chelsea.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think from the Arsenal point of view what really matters is the three points,\u2019 he said. \u2018It is really important for them.<\/p>\n

\u2018When you look at the game a bit deeper, scoring from set-plays, the game was more open than we expected. You would expect Arsenal to go a little more forward.<\/p>\n

\u2018Chelsea were organised well defensively which stopped Arsenal from creating chances. When you are top of the Champions League table, top of the Premier League table, in the final of a cup, the expectation is higher.<\/p>\n

\u2018You expect more from this Arsenal. I am a little bit disappointed but what matters is to win. It\u2019s not about the style because I think the style can be down to the fact they haven\u2019t won the title in so long.<\/p>\n

\u2018There could be a little desperation and stress because they want to do so well that you are not taking the risks you are at the start of the season.<\/p>\n

\u2018Looking at where they are, a little bit of nervousness and pressure can have an impact on these games. I believe there is enough experience, quality, personality, to go on the field and win the game.\u2019<\/p>\n

Arsenal continue their Premier League title charge on Wednesday night against Brighton, who have won two games in a row following a poor run.<\/p>\n

Brighton won at Brentford last weekend before beating Nottingham Forest on Sunday to close in on the top-half of the Premier League.<\/p>\n
