Richard Keys was dramatically forced off the air after joint US-Israel attacks in Iran sparked chaos across the region.<\/p>\n

Former Sky Sports presenter Keys has fronted beINSports\u2019 Premier League coverage alongside Andy Gray for over a decade.<\/p>\n

The broadcaster\u2019s regular Saturday show covering the afternoon\u2019s Premier League action was pulled after explosions were reportedly heard in Qatar where the studio is based.<\/p>\n

Keys wrote on Twitter confirming the show would not air after things got \u2018a bit lively earlier\u2019 before taking a swipe at \u2018that idiot Trump\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Thank you all for your messages. It\u2019s was a bit lively earlier. I don\u2019t have space to express my feelings about that idiot Trump. No show today,\u2019 he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u2018You\u2019ll be in the capable hands of our colleagues in London. Thoughts & prayers for everyone in our region. Ramadan Kareem.\u2019<\/p>\n

Keys\u2019 comments came after the UK government\u2019s foreign office advised all UK nationals in the region to \u2018remain indoors.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Due to reported missile attacks, British nationals in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and United Arab Emirates should immediately shelter in place,\u2019 the statement said.<\/p>\n

\u2018Remain indoors in a secure location, avoid all travel and follow instructions from the local authorities.\u2019<\/p>\n

Israel has claimed Iran has launched retaliatory strikes with explosions heard across Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Missiles also struck targets in US ally Bahrain, where <\/strong>US Navy\u2019s Fifth Fleet is headquartered.<\/p>\n

US officials said infrastructure was damaged in Bahrain, but it remains unclear if the fleet base was impacted, while no US casualties have been reported so far, according to NBC News.<\/p>\n

Qatar\u2019s defence ministry said in a statement that it had intercepted incoming Iranian missiles before they reached Qatari territory after \u2018joint coordination\u2019, Reuters report.<\/p>\n

Keys and Gray have been based in Doha since 2013, two years after the two lost their jobs a Sky Sports following a sexism scandal.<\/p>\n
