Alan Shearer has provided us with his latest batch of Premier League predictions ahead of another huge weekend in the title race.<\/p>\n

After easing past Tottenham last time out, Arsenal have another huge London derby with Chelsea making the trip across the capital to the Emirates.<\/p>\n

By the time that game kicks off, Manchester City could be just two points behind Arsenal \u2013 providing they can beat Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Manchester United can tighten their grip on a top four spot against Crystal Palace at home while Fulham have the chance to pile even more misery on Tottenham at Craven Cottage.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the battle at the bottom, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest face tough tests away to Liverpool and Brighton respectively while Burnley could give their own unlikely survival hopes a shot in the arm at home to Brentford.<\/p>\n

As ever, England legend and\u00a0Betfair\u00a0ambassador Alan Shearer has revealed his Premier League predictions to\u00a0Metro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wolves have definitely picked up a bit and Villa are waning and don\u2019t have a great record against them, especially at Molineux. In games like this I normally say draw, but Villa are just going to have way too much for them.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve got too much quality in those forward positions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Aston Villa win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bournemouth vs Sunderland<\/h2>\n

This is a tough one to call, actually. Seeing as Sunderland are missing Xhaka\u2019s experience and ability in the middle, and Bournemouth have picked up a bit of form, I\u2019m going to go with a Bournemouth home win.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Bournemouth win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Burnley vs Brentford<\/h2>\n

Burnley got a good result last time out against Chelsea, but if Brentford were looking for a game to bounce back and get physical in, this is probably the one. I\u2019ll say a Brentford away win.<\/p>\n

Liverpool vs West Ham<\/h2>\n

West Ham are definitely on the up form-wise whether that\u2019s going to be enough I\u2019m not quite sure, they\u2019re going up against Liverpool, who had a good result last time out, away to Nottingham Forest. It has to be a Liverpool home win.<\/p>\n

If you offered West Ham a point now, they\u2019d snap your hands off, but I\u2019m not sure they\u2019ll get one.<\/p>\n

Newcastle vs Everton<\/h2>\n

Everton are having a tough time at home and are probably more suited to playing away right now, particularly with the way David Moyes will set them up. But if you look at Newcastle\u2019s form and the belief, they\u2019ve got at St James\u2019 Park, I\u2019m backing a Newcastle home win.<\/p>\n

A point separating them sums up the league. Everton can\u2019t win at home, yet they\u2019re in a really decent league position. It would be a different story if Everton had a centre forward, someone who could put goals in the back of the net.<\/p>\n

I still think Newcastle might just edge this one because of the belief in Europe this week. There are two home games coming up for Newcastle and realistically if they want European football next year they need to win both, other than winning the Champions League or FA Cup, these are two huge games for them.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Newcastle win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leeds vs Manchester City<\/h2>\n

Leeds are always a tough nut to crack, especially at home. We saw how tough they are to beat against Chelsea when they were two goals down and that was away from home. But Man City are a completely different kettle of fish.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019ll be a brilliant atmosphere and City do give you chances. They were hanging on against Newcastle last weekend at home, but they are just going to have too much for them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019re going to say it so many times between now and the end of the season but playing before Arsenal it really is important to pile the pressure on.<\/p>\n

If you said to Leeds if they would take a point, they would, but I\u2019m not sure they will.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Manchester City win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brighton vs Nottingham Forest<\/h2>\n

\u00a0It was a massive win for Brighton last weekend, brilliant for James Milner as well after they left Carlos Baleba out, putting Milner in there. It turned out to be a really wise decision, but I wasn\u2019t convinced.<\/p>\n

Forest definitely looked better with a real improvement last weekend against Liverpool, albeit not getting the result they wanted. I\u2019m going to sit on the fence a bit here and say a draw. The manager\u2019s words to them this week was saying that they\u2019re really happy with what they\u2019ve got, but they need to finish chances.<\/p>\n

I still think it\u2019ll be between Forest and West Ham as to who goes down.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Draw<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fulham vs Tottenham<\/h2>\n

It was a huge result for Fulham up at Sunderland last week, and there\u2019s a real feel-good factor down there right now. As for Spurs, absolutely nothing gives me any confidence they can go away from home and actually win a game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

London derbies, normally I would go for a draw, but nothing gives me confidence about Spurs at this moment in time. You will just hear the rest of the league talking about Tottenham if they were to be beaten again this weekend.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t see any improvement last weekend, so they will have needed a big week on the training pitch to come up with answers.<\/p>\n

Prediction \u2013 Fulham win<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace<\/h2>\n

With all the noise coming out of Palace right now regarding the manager and the discontent, it\u2019s just a mess. They did win last week, and it was a big result for them but I still don\u2019t have a single bit of belief in Palace at the moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The run that United are on, finding ways to win games, I think they\u2019ll do the same again.<\/p>\n

Arsenal vs Chelsea<\/h2>\n

The belief and everything that goes with winning against Tottenham in the way they did, I think Arsenal are just going to do the same to Chelsea and overpower them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll have too much for them all over the pitch. I\u2019m still really not convinced by Chelsea at the back. Defensively, Rosenior keeps picking different personnel and they haven\u2019t been great defensively, which has to change if they\u2019re going to get into the top four.<\/p>\n
